WARNING: nobody is going to give you something for free
read this report on how to spot Acai scams and rip offs
First of all you must know the following - PureAcaiBerry.com do NOT autoship products to you. You are free to order when YOU want.
So called ‘Free Trials’ are very dangerous to sign up to!
First of all . . . if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
What really happens with ‘Acai Free Trial” sites is you will be signed up to a subscription system where you will be sent a new bottle every month... whether you ask for it or not!
They’ll ask for your credit card details but tell you it’s only to pay for the shipping costs.
Yeah right!
There is no such thing as "free lunch". Especially when it comes to buying quality Acai Berry products.
Once they have your credit card details they’ll bill you every month.
“But that’s outrageous! Can they really do that?”
Yes they can. It’s in the fine print, hiding away in their terms and conditions.
But that’s not the worst of it!
The real fun starts when you try to cancel your order!
You’ll spend hour after hour, being passed from one person to another, until eventually you want to give up. Of course, that’s if you can get hold of anyone in the first place.
- They will ask for an invoice number, which they never sent you
- They will tell you they have lost your details in an computer mishap
- They will explain that you should have read the Terms before buying
You will spend hours trying to cancel your ‘Acai Free Trial” site subscription.
And to add insult to injury, in these scams you’ll be charged at least twice the cost of Pure Acai Berry but all you’ll get is spray or air dried Acai Berry. This costs half the amount to produce and has nowhere near the effectiveness of freeze dried Pure Acai Berry.
Remember . . . it’s freeze drying that retains Acai’s weight loss effectiveness. And all those beneficial nutrients and antioxidants are lost if it’s not freeze dried.
They just keep springing back up!
Of course the scam websites regularly get shut down.
But they can just change their name and spring back up again as a new company.
So if you want to avoid being scammed, avoid the free trial sites like the plague.
Tell you what. Just so you know this is for real, check this out . . .
“A record $1,375,000 settlement was announced today by Attorney General Terry Goddard against Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc.(“CCN”) of Phoenix. The settlement resolves a consumer fraud lawsuit that alleged deceptive online sales practices by CCN.
CCN will pay $1 million in civil penalties to the state, $350,000 in consumer restitution and $25,000 to cover the state’s legal and investigative costs.
After receiving hundreds of consumer complaints, Goddard brought the lawsuit against CCN in December 2008. In it he alleged that CCN used a variety of deceptive tactics marketing low-cost “risk-free” trial offers of health supplements.
According to the complaints, consumers who purchased the low-cost “risk-free trial offers” of CCN’s health supplements were also charged for costly products and services that they did not request. These included pre-selected “up-sell” products that the consumer had to actively de-select in the online order form to avoid being charged.
When consumers tried to contact CCN regarding the unauthorized charges, they often faced hold times over an hour and their e-mails never received a response.”
